Enamelled glass is float glass to which an opaque layer of enamel is added. This enamel is burned into the glass surface by a thermal treatment. By applying high-temperature enamel obtains an exceptional mechanical hardness and high resistance to extreme weather and air pollution.
The enamel can be applied to one side of a clear, extra clear or coloured glass, patterned glass in several species and reflective glass.
Enamelled glass is available in several standard colors that approach the RAL color gamma.
- possibly assembled into an insulating sandwich panel to improve the thermal insulation
- covering of walls
- pillars and columns
The enameled glass is placed against a wall.
