Toughened glass

The special glass from Nissink Business Glass has the following advantages:

  • Better resistance against shocks and (air) pressure
  • “Crumble effect” in case of destruction, without risk of injury
  • Thermal resistance against fatigue up to 150 degrees K
  • Pressure resistant up to 900 N / m²

The distance between the borders of the borehole and glass borders and the distance between the drill hole borders need to be at least twice the glass thickness. Ask us, in case of more than four boreholes, for the minimal distance. When drilling in a corner of a window and when a distance between the borehole border and glass border is smaller than 35mm, the differences between the distances needs to be at least 5mm. The values in the table also apply to maximum deviations.
